How do I get started?

Our services begin with a free initial consultation visit. Call our animal-loving staff today to arrange for your first meeting. You can also fill out the handy contact form, and we’ll be back in touch as soon as possible!

What services do you offer?

Stay at Home Pet Services offers several types of care–and we care for more than just pets! Be assured that your house–as well as your pets–will be well cared for while you’re away.

Our full range of services includes:

  • Vacation care & overnight care
  • Daily dog walking & dog park visits
  • Medication administration
  • House sitting, mail gathering, plant watering, & pantry re-stocking

What areas do you service?

We provide service for families approximately along the Greater Cincinnati I-71 corridor – south of I-275. Please call the office at 513-706-7702 for more detailed information.

What pets do you care for?

We can cater to dogs, cats, birds, fish and more. Whatever type of pet you have, our team will provide loving care–including cuddling and tummy rubs. Our staff are all animal lovers who are passionate about what they do!

What are your rates?

Rates vary based on the type of care your home and pets require.

Flat rate for overnight care which includes a (5-6pm) dinner visit, bedtime care (9pm) sleep to breakfast (7am) – $97.

Our Ad-Hoc 24-hour pet care care rates are as follows:

  • Evening Meal & Walk 1 Hour – $34
  • Before-bed Walk .75 Hour – $28
  • Sleepover 9PM – 7AM – $85
  • Morning Meal & Walk 1 Hour – $34
  • Midday Walk .75 Hour – $28
  • Midday Kitty Visit .5 Hour – $23

How do I pay for service?

We accept payment via cash, check and all major credit cards.

Do you offer any discounts?

Yes! We offer veteran discounts on services. Call the office for details.

What happens if I need to cancel my scheduled service?

Stay at Home Pet Services does offer partial refunds for services. The amount is determined by the window of time between your cancellation and your scheduled day of service. In general, for trips and vacations:

Overnight Care:

  • For cancelled reservations before departure with less than a two (2) week notice, due to a non-emergency reason, full fee is due.

Exception: All reservations may be canceled within 24 hours of the initial booking for a full refund, unless initially booked within two (2) weeks of the first day of service.

  • Reservation cancelled before departure due to an emergency, you will receive a 50% refund.
  • Trip shortened after departure for a non-emergency reason, NO REFUND is offered.
  • Trip shortened after departure due to an emergency, we offer a 50% refund for the remaining days.


  • No refund on holiday reservations that are cancelled with less than two (2) weeks notice.

Short Visits (½ Hour +):

  • Please inform us by 5pm the previous business day to cancel your requested visit to avoid paying a fee of $5.
  • If there is an emergency, such as illness or heavy snow, please contact us as soon as possible to avoid a fee.

Last Minute Requests:

  • Anything less than 24 hours notice is considered a last minute request. For midday visits (existing clients), there is a $5 additional fee, if we are able to accommodate your request. And, there is no guarantee that a sitter will be available. Any request after 5pm will be processed during business hours the following day.

Are you available during holidays?

Yes. And, we have extra service fees for the following holidays: New Years Day, Passover, Easter, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Hanukkah, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Years Eve.

The extra charges are:

  • Per Daily Visit – $5 extra per visit
  • Per Overnight – $10 extra per overnight
