How do I get started?

Our services begin with a free initial consultation visit. Call our animal-loving staff today to arrange for your first meeting. You can also fill out the handy contact form, and we’ll be back in touch as soon as possible!

What services do you offer?

Stay at Home Pet Services offers several types of care–and we care for more than just pets! Be assured that your house–as well as your pets–will be well cared for while you’re away.

Our full range of services includes:

  • Vacation care & overnight care
  • Daily dog walking & dog park visits
  • Medication administration
  • House sitting, mail gathering, plant watering, & pantry re-stocking

What areas do you service?

We provide service for families throughout the Greater Cincinnati area, ranging from northern communities like Maineville all the way south to O’Bryonville. The following neighborhoods are part of our service area: Anderson, Hyde Park, Indian Hill, Maineville, Mariemont, Mason, and Loveland. We are happy to supply references if needed!

What pets do you care for?

We can cater to dogs, cats, birds, fish and more. Whatever type of pet you have, our team will provide loving care–including cuddling and tummy rubs. Our staff are all animal lovers who are passionate about what they do!

What are your rates?

Rates vary based on the type of care your home and pets require.

Flat rate for overnight including dinner (5pm) bedtime care (9pm) sleep to breakfast (7am) – $99.

Our Ad-Hoc 24-hour pet care care rates are as follows:

  • Evening Meal & Walk 1 Hour – $34
  • Before-bed Walk .75 Hour – $28
  • Sleepover 9PM – 7AM – $85
  • Morning Meal & Walk 1 Hour – $34
  • Midday Walk .75 Hour – $28
  • Midday Kitty Visit .5 Hour – $23

How do I pay for service?

We accept payment via cash, check and all major credit cards.

Do you offer any discounts?

Yes! We offer veteran discounts on services. Call the office for details.

What happens if I need to cancel my scheduled service?

Stay at Home Pet Services does offer partial refunds for services. The amount is determined by the window of time between your cancellation and your scheduled day of service. In general, for trips and vacations:

For overnight care:

  • If your trip is shortened before departure, a two (2) week notice is required to receive a reduced rate.
  • If your trip is cancelled two to four weeks prior to your planned departure, there is a charge of 50% of the fee.
  • If your trip is shortened after departure due to an emergency, we offer a 50% refund for the remaining days.
  • If your trip is shortened after departure for a non-emergency reason, NO REFUND is offered.


  • There is no refund on holiday visits that are cancelled with less than two (2) weeks notice.

Day Time Visits:

  • Please inform us by 5pm the previous business day to cancel your requested visit to avoid paying a fee.
  • If there is an emergency, such as illness or heavy snow, please contact us as soon as possible to avoid a fee.

Are you available during holidays?

Yes. And, we have extra service charges for the following holidays: New Years Day, Easter, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Years Eve.

The extra charges are:

  • Per Daily Visit – $5 extra per visit
  • Per Overnight – $10 extra per overnight
